Expert/Business Development Manager

We are looking for a new colleague to our Oslo team of Polish Investment and Trade Agency.

You will be working at the Export Support Department of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH S.A.) that gives you the opportunity to help prepare and implement promotional strategies both in Poland and abroad. By joining our team at the Trade Office in Oslo, you will be directly involved in variety of project across different industries.

• supporting Polish entrepreneurs on the Norwegian market, including actively identifying and acquiring potential business partners as well as informing them about detailed market-access conditions and doing business locally
• preparing and updating information on Poland’s export offer
• conducting analyses and research on the Norwegian market
• organizing and participating in trade fairs and promotional events, business missions, B2B meetings etc.
• establishing and maintaining relations with local business support institutions, including industry organizations
• informing businesses about conditions for investing in Poland
• preparing and editing materials, newsletters and online publications
• monitoring the media for economic and business information relevant to bilateral relations
• implementing promotional strategies and plans, and actively seeking and leveraging business opportunities
• supporting the Head and the team in other activities related to the office’s operations on the Norwegian market

• university degree
• at least 5 years of professional experience, preferably in business development
• very good command of English and Polish  (minimum C1 - required)
• knowledge of Norwegian at B2 level is required
• very good command of MS Office
• experience in acquiring business partners, confirmed by success stories
• knowledge of the Norwegian market economy and local legislation
• experience working abroad in an international environment
• political and economic knowledge regarding the Nordic countries
• willingness to travel on business
• strong communication skills, proactivity in initiating new partnerships and projects
• experience in project management
• good knowledge of Norway’s business ecosystem
